Rishikesh Area

Ram Jhula and Lakshman Jhula : Lakshamn Jhula and Ram jhula are two hanging bridges over Ganges separated by a 2kms scenic forest walk. Visitors to Rishikesh are fascinated by the two bridges - Jhula means Swing, bridge - for their mythological connotations as well as sheer technological marvel. Lakshman Jhula is home to spectacular multi-storied ashrams hanging above the riverfront, while quiet rural Swargashram near Ram Jhula is a peaceful park-like world famous religious and meditative center where gurus and sadhus from the nation converge to inspire and instruct the devotee and the visitor alike.
